Tom is a grown up big kid at heart who loves working with the youth. He has two great boys and a lovely wife, Melissa. Has been with Wonderful Mercy since 2004. He is an avid fisherman. Tom's motto is, "Life is a journey, full of different chapters. Some good, some not. But they all tie into the next chapter. What's your next chapter gonna be?" Tom led youth ministry at his previous church and has actively worked with the Wonderful Mercy's students since 2011.

  • Joanie Meyer | Mercy Meals

After a lifetime of providing open-home hospitality during 10 years on the mission field and 20 years at ASU serving students, including home-stay hosting of international students, Joanie's leadership of the Mercy Meals team is a perfect fit. She is the mother of three, proud grandmother of seven, loves to cook for others, and is a voracious reader of books on a wide variety of topics.

  • Mike Niileksela | Student Ministries Co-Director

Mike became a member of the Deacon Board in early 2017. In addition, he is serving as a coach for the Jr. High and High School youth ministry at WMC. Mike has worked in the manufacturing field for 20+ years, leading teams of people through many successful projects and positive company growth. He and Jennifer enjoy their time together hiking, sneaking out to a quick movie, or dinner date.

Mike works at the U.S. headquarters of an agency that recruits, trains, and sends workers into the Muslim world, and Sally is a full-time home school teacher. They enjoy coffee, walks, movies, sunsets (one of them also enjoys sunrises), travel, and interesting conversation.

  • Jennifer Sellers | Children

Jennifer has been married to Pastor Graeme Sellers for 25 years. Together they have four beautiful children. When she is not driving kids around town or sorting through mounds of laundry, she enjoys hanging out with the family dog, watching movies, and scrapbooking. She loves being a part of the Children’s Ministry and sharing the Father’s heart of love with our precious little (and not-so-little) ones.

Throughout her life she has served in various ministries, both within churches and in the community, and currently works as a cognitive trainer. Carol shares her life with her quirky husband, Ian. Since she was 11 years old, her life goal has been to love God and live every day for Him.
