Wonderful Mercy's Children's Ministry believes we can:
- EXPECT . . . our children to fall more in love with Jesus!
- REJOICE . . . in opportunities for the children to be filled with the Spirit!
- WATCH . . . for families to be renewed and strengthened!
In Luke 18:16-17, Jesus gathered children around him and warned the adults, “Let the little children come to Me. Never
hinder them! Don’t you realize—the kingdom of God belongs to those who
are like children? You can depend on this: if you don’t receive the Kingdom as a child would, you won’t enter it at all.”
A key component for our children fully receiving the kingdom is to be in an environment in which they are regularly given the opportunity to grow and experience God in limitless ways. Our Children’s Ministry provides seeds of faith and inspiration through:
- Reading the Bible
- Fun and friendship
- Sunday School
God wants to move powerfully in our church and we sense the children have a special role in His plan. We take encouragement from Proverbs 19:21, which says, “We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails.”
