Here's What's Happening
at Our Church

Here are just a few of the many things going on at Wonderful Mercy Church.

  • One 9:30 am service

Please join us as we worship all together at 9:30 a.m.

  • Taize Prayer

    7:00 pm Wednesday, September 12

You are invited to a service of listening prayer patterned after the prayer and worship times of the community of Taize in France.

"It is a time to rest in God, to let the words listend to and sung to penetrate one's being." So says Brother John, a Taize monk, in lectures and writings explaining what the service is all about.

There is no preaching, no teaching, no talk of sin or repentance or forgiveness.  There is just this elegantly simple service:  short chants repeated over and over in the dim, candle lit sanctuary; plus some short scripture readings or psalms.  And silence, at least 8 or 10 minutes, sometimes more.  In 45 minutes, it's over.

  • Mercy Men

Asu vs. San Diego State football

    7:00 pm Saturday, September 15

Are you ready for some football Mercy Men?

If so, join us Saturday, September 15 at Pastor Jim's home.  Bring a friend or two and $5 to cover the cost of food.

  • Kingdom Come

    7:00 PM Friday, OCtober 5

The first Friday of every month we invite you to join others like you who want to put aside any barrier and just seek God.  Listen, pray, share and worship together.  We will trust the Holy Spirit to guide us throughout the evening as we humble ourselves to honor Him.  This isn't a church thing...this is a kingdom thing.  God is bigger than any one church or any program, so we seek His kingdom together.

    second Saturday of each month

This is a senior group available to connect with other seniors within the church.  We meet the second Saturday of each month.

This group is ongoing throughout the year.  Monthly brunch starts at 11:00 am at Applebee's located at 2032 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ 85204 (NE Corner of Baseline and Gilbert Rd.). We look forward to meeting you! Contact  Sandra Anderson with questions.
