  • Bible Study: Pathlight

    Thursday Nights

    Oct 5-Nov 9, 7:00 PM At WMC

PathLight explores God's unchanging purposes and investigates how His global plan is unfolding in our generation. Come enjoy a course that will help you know Him better, know yourself better, and better understand your unique wiring for making a difference in His world.  What do the Scriptures say about His intent to bless all nations?  How has His kingdom spread from the 1st through the 21st centuries? What unique was is He touching people around the world today?  How do cultural uniqueness and diversity connect with His kingdom?  How might increased collaboration further the reach of the gospel?  We will cover all of these topics over five weeks.  The text is $16 and will be available through the church office or at the door.  The course itself normally costs $125, but there will be no cost for us.

  • Bible Study: Telling your story

    Tuesday nights, 7:00-9:00 PM

Oct 10-Nov 21 at the hammerslag home

Our stories are on of the most powerful things about us.  Although people can try to argue about the Authenticity of Christianity's claims, no one can argue with what Christ has done on a personal level in someone's life.  Someone once said, "A person with a story is never at the mercy of a person with an argument."  Stories release hope and faith in the atmosphere and are a great way to reach the lost, the broken, and the hurting.  In this workshop we will learn more about why it is on God's heart for us to be sharing our stories, how to effectively write and share a story, and how to incorporate them into your life and your ministry, whether in the church, in the workplace, or at home.  Instructor: Mike Bradley

  • Bible Study:  Using your Spiritual Gifts

    Tuesday Nights, 7:00 - 9:00 PM

    Oct 3 - Nov 21 at WMC

Would you like to learn to use your spiritual gifts?  Then you must find a place to serve.  It is in the practice of your gift that you will best learn to use it.  Peter wrote, "As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." (1 Peter 4:10).  The emphasis is on using our gifts to serve others, not ourselves.  You have an important role, a role only you can fill.  It is God's will for you to be exercising your gifts for the common good of His people.  Whatever you do, exercise that gift!  Instructor: Hank Doss.
